The brightening power of Shark Sauce comes from our use of 5% niacinamide and 3% n-acetylglucosamine. Multiple studies indicate that 5% niacinamide is the optimal effective concentration of niacinamide for skin brightening, barrier strengthening, and resilience-boosting benefits. N-acetylglucosamine delivers hyperpigmentation fading and wrinkle-reducing benefits as well andplays beautifully with niacinamide.

Now, by popular request, we’re bringing you an even more niacinamide-packed Shark Sauce. Double Shark contains 10% niacinamide and 3% n-acetylglucosamine—we’re excited to hear how you like it!

All the other ingredients in Double Shark remain the same as in ourOG Shark Sauce formulation. We chose not to change anything else in order to make comparison testing easier for our more science-minded customers. If you notice any difference in effects between Double Shark and the Shark Sauce that you’re used to, you can feel confident in attributing the difference to the additional niacinamide. There are no other different ingredients to cause confusion.
